its been quite some time since i last blog in. in fact my last entry was even b4 e world cup start. been busy doing stuffs n also famili commitments n nt to mention the world cup matches. :)
its been 10 days since my uncle pass away. he pass away in the hospital, aft being warded there for nearly 3 weeks. his battle against cancer for 10 years is over.eventhough he was a quiet person, he was well respected in the famili as well as close frenz. there was a lot of people who came to pay their last repsect to him.
last monday, i was involve in a road accident. my dady was driving my uncle's car to go over to my aunt place at west coast when he stop at a red light when dis taxi driver came n bang to us from behind.e impact of the bang was so hard dat it knock me n moi sis off our seats. i had a stinging headache n neck ache due to dat impact. *double ouch* so u guys can juz imagine for fast he was driving when he bang into us. his reason for banging into us was dat he didnt see the red light. it was such a dumb ans, coz cant he see all the cars on the same rd actuali stop at e red light. n it was a heavy traffic day coz it was aft office hours. *sheesh* the booth of my uncle car was soooo badly damaged dat the mechanic had to change the whole ting. it was totally wreck, dady cant even drive e car away at first. lucky we dun haf to pay since it was nt our fault coz it cost a bomb to change it.
on a more happy note, ive started my new job already. another teaching job, dis time it comes wif more responsibility. to Nadia, dun wori girl. i will always b here for u.wheneva u need help juz tag me k.
my bday falls on last sun, didnt exactly celebrate it coz of my cousin engagement ceremony. i celebrate it in advance wif some frenz, on mon wif my famili, n more to come.hehe.. my frenz are juz great, they make an effort to celebrate my bday. *grinz* i also wanna say my thanks to some frenz coz they post my prezzy over.u all should knoe who u are. Thank U!!

Modern Cinderella--sort of :D

There once lived a girl who stayed in the city. At her first job, she falls for a guy who works in the same department as her. She thought the guy reciprocate her feelings, when he asked her out. Apart from going on dates, they also started spending more time with each other by either meeting up for lunch or after work. The girl was dreaming of a happily-ever-after when a couple of months later, the guy came up to her and told her that he was going back to his ex-girlfriend. Heart-broken, the girl wished him all the best and hoped that he would be happy with his ex. They continued to work together and she put on a smile although her heart was crying. What else could she do? Other than to smile and pretend to be happy. Unfortunately, after months of emotional strain, she decided to quit her job and moved on. They each went on with their respective lives; she with her new job and friends made along the way, and he with his renewed relationship. She tried to make a go at other relationships but somehow they tend to fail as her heart had been given away.

Time went by but soon fate had something else in store for her. Several years later, they met up again unexpectedly. Again, they were both single. Although the girl is wary, her heart kept on screaming for him. Meanwhile, the guy wanting another chance with her, began wooing her earnestly. When she was finally decided to give him another chance disaster struck again! He patched up with the ex-girlfriend…again! It was like a bad dream for the girl. She did not know how to survive this time around but luckily her friends rallied around her. They encouraged her, kept her busy and found ways to make her laugh. It was only at night, when she was all alone in her bedroom that her thoughts went to him. What was he doing? Was he ok? And if he missed her as much as she missed him. At times she cried herself to sleep thinking about him and the shabby way he had treated her.

Two months later, she decided to move to another city and start afresh with no memories of him surrounding her. She discussed it with a few of her good friends and they agreed with her idea. Maybe when she is away from him, she would be able to forget about him and settle down to a meaningful relationship with someone else.

She moved to a less bustling city and found a job there. Her job was something different, something she never thought of doing let alone making a career out of it. As time passed by, she grew to love her new job and was happy. Although she missed her old friends, she soon made new ones. During a company gathering, she was introduced to the head of another department. He was nice, friendly, and cute as well. He has gotten a mutual friend to introduce them as he found her to be a shy and friendly girl. Even though they were not from the same department, they soon had to work together often.

Once bitten twice shy, she was wary of him and rebuffed all attempts made by him to go out for group lunches. When he found out the reason for her behaviour, he respected and understood it but did not give up. Finally, persistence did pay off; she finally agreed to go out for lunch with him after months of saying no. From then on, a beautiful friendship started as he taught her that not all guys were like her previous guy. He taught her how to trust in another guy again.
After months of friendship, he brought up the subject on love. While he had fallen for her since the first day they met, he knew that she needed time to get over her last experience. The foundations of trust and love that he has built as well as his kind personality became the key to the door to her heart. She accepted his love fully, knowing that she could trust him with her heart. She never regretted moving to that city and finally found her happily ever after.

i juz came home from an evening in town reached hm ard 11pm.it was soOo nice to spend an evening in town wif dear.i reached quite early actuali, went meet my fren near al falah mosque ferst.she was kinda late, then met dear somewhere near taka.of which we walk down to heren to find some stuffs.took a bus no 7 to bugis since dear nt driving 2day.went bugis market to get twerpy pressie and also to do clothes shopping for myself. *grinz*
bought for twerpy her pressie which she wanted at a shop which me frequently go so got good price lah.hehe...so dis wont b a surprise pressie.haha...then dear bought for me a sleeveless t-shirt.thanks dear....we had dinner outside also.it was soOo much fun. *weeeee*

i've had a very bery nice week.very slow n steady n not to mention peaceful aft e hectic n crazy last wkend.seems to me my days are either slow n steady or crazy n hectic, no in betweens. *sheesh* oh well....on a more happier note, all i eva did dis week was window shopping for shoes, stay at hm, or read my books.got tons n tons of books to catch up not to mention some vcd that i bought bt havent even start watching.
on mon i went central lib wif moi twerpy sis.she wanted to borrow some books n i felt like hanging out there.so we kill two birds wif one stone (sort of). *smiles*
on tues didnt exactly plan anyting much, bt managed to watch e x-men movie.it was not wat i expect it to b.i had great expectations for dat movie bt it turn out to be ...... aft dat at nite i went n visit moi uncle.he is still in e hospital, getting better luckily. been there for abt a week plus already.poor him....
on wed i stayed at hm n did some housework.had some clothes dat need to be hand washed.so spend e day at home doing someting dat makes moi mum smile big2.
on thurs went n meet dear william.e last time i met him was on my last maths paper.n dat was ages2 ago.he came over also because moi dad wanted to talk to him abt someting or other.dun ask me wat it was. *smiles*
on fri i was at hm during e day, went out in e evening to meet Sica for dinner.went jurong pt and shop b4 having our dinner at swensons. somehow or other we usually eat at swensons when its juz e two of us. *grinz* since i was there,tot of meeting dear aft dat bt he was tired aft working e whole day.so didnt get to meet him at all. *pout*
and so my sat was a slow one too, went to visit uncle at e hospital ard noon.came hm in e evening n decided to stay at hm.dun feel like going out 2nite.
dis is a week worth of entry, hope u all enjoy reading it as i enjoyed doing all those tings n more.hehehe.....
